The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requested public comments on draft Supplement 6 to NUREG-1910, "Generic Environmental Impact Statement for In Situ Leach Uranium Milling Facilities." The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on August 22, 2016. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments.
