The Coast Guard proposes to establish a safety zone in the navigable waters of the East Passage, Narragansett Bay, RI, during the Volvo Ocean Race Newport marine event. This safety zone is intended to safeguard mariners from the hazards associated with high-speed, high- performance sailing vessels competing in inshore races on the waters of the East Passage, Narragansett Bay, RI.
