Whistleblower Protection For Federal Bureau of Investigation Employees

Resumen

This interim rule establishes procedures under which employees of the Federal Bureau of Investigation may make disclosures of information protected by the Civil Services Reform Act of 1978 (Pub. L. No. 95-454) and the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989 (Pub. L. No. 101-12), codified at 5 U.S.C. 2303. It also establishes procedures under which the Department of Justice (the Department) will investigate allegations by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employees of retaliation for making such disclosures and provide appropriate corrective action.
