Resumen
This interim rule adopts requirements for safety equipment and vessel operating procedures on commercial fishing industry vessels. The Coast Guard is issuing these regulations to improve the overall safety of U.S. Commercial Fishing Industry Vessels pursuant to the Commercial Fishing Industry Vessel Safety Act of 1988 and to make several technical corrections.
