Notice of Request for Extension of Currently Approved Information Collection; Certification of Enforcement of Vehicle Size and Weight Laws

Resumen

In accordance with the requirements of 44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A), the FHWA solicits comments on its intent to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to extend approval of the following information collections required annually from each State, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico: (1) a certification that they are enforcing their size and weight laws on Federal-aid highways; (2) information to verify that the certification is accurate; and (3) information on penalties assessed for violation of their size and weight laws and requirements for oversize and overweight permits.
