The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that Ciba-Geigy Corp. has filed a petition proposing that the food additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of 2-[[2,4,8,10- tetrakis (1,1-dimethylethyl)dibenzo[d.f][1,3,2] -dioxaphosphepin-6- yl]oxy]-N,N-bis [2-[[2,4,8,10-tetrakis (dimethylethyl)dibenzo [d.f][1,3,2] dioxaphosphepin-6-yl]oxy]ethyl]ethanamine as a process stabilizer for high density olefin copolymers intended for use in contact with food.
