Receipt of Application for Emergency Exemption to use Fomesafen; Solicitation of Public Comment

Resumen

EPA has received a specific exemption request from the Arkansas State Plant Board (hereafter referred to as the ``Applicant'') for use of the pesticide Fomesafen (EPA Reg. No. 10182-83) to control broadleaf weeds on up to 1,000 acres of snap beans in Arkansas. In accordance with 40 CFR 166.24, EPA is soliciting public comment before making the decision whether or not to grant the exemption.
