Availability of Environmental Assessment, Finding of No Significant Impact, and Record of Decision for the Asian Gypsy Moth Eradication Project

Resumen

We are advising the public that the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has adopted and is making available an environmental assessment prepared by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, with substantial assistance from APHIS, for the Asian gypsy moth eradication project in North Carolina. We are also making available APHIS' own finding of no significant impact and record of decision for the Asian gypsy moth eradication project in North Carolina. The environmental assessment provides a basis for the conclusion that the methods employed to eradicate the plant pest will not have a significant impact on the environment.
