EPA Responses to State and Tribal 2008 Lead Designation Recommendations: Notice of Availability and Public Comment Period

Notice is hereby given that the EPA has posted its responses to state and tribal designation recommendations for the 2008 Lead (Pb) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) on the EPA Internet Web Site. EPA invites public comments on its responses during the comment period specified in the DATES section. EPA sent responses directly to the states and tribes on or about June 15, 2010, and plans to make final designation determinations for the 2008 Pb NAAQS by October 15, 2010.
