The Coast Guard is establishing one special local regulation for a regatta and four safety zones for two fireworks displays and two swim events within the Captain of the Port (COTP) Long Island Sound (LIS) Zone. The special local regulation and safety zones will facilitate public notification of the event and provide protective measures for the maritime public and event participants from the hazards associated with these events.
