NCUA Board Proposes Amendment to Chartering and Field of Membership Rules

The NCUA Board proposes to clarify that requiring the purchase of a product or service as a condition of membership does not automatically bar eligibility as a recognized association, according to the proposed amendment to its chartering and field of membership rules.
