NHTSA Extends Deadline for Comments on Safety Defect in Frontal Air Bag Inflators

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has extended the deadline for manufacturers and interested persons to submit written comments on a safety defect in frontal driver and passenger air bag inflators manufactured by ARC Automotive Inc. and Delphi Automotive Systems LLC, from September 4, 2024, to October 4, 2024, following a request submitted on August 7, 2024.
