Weldon Denies Petition for Inconsequential Noncompliance Decision

Weldon, a division of Akron Brass Company, has denied its petition to the NHTSA, stating that its noncompliance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 is not inconsequential to motor vehicle safety, following a report filed on November 7, 2018, and a petition submitted on November 30, 2018.
