US Regulators Update Occupant Protection Standards for Self-Driving Cars
The US Department of Transportation has finalized a rule to ensure vehicles equipped with Automated Driving Systems (ADS) continue to provide the same high levels of occupant protection as traditional passenger vehicles, despite innovative designs lacking manual controls.
