NCUA Amends Chartering and Field of Membership Rules for Community Charter Applications

The NCUA Board is updating its rules to allow applicants for community charters to provide a narrative description of their local community, rather than relying on statistical data, and to permit public hearings for larger communities and communities divided into metropolitan areas.
