NHTSA Extends Comment Period for Driver Distraction Guidelines
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has extended the comment period for its proposed voluntary guidelines for in-vehicle electronic devices by 24 days, from April 24, 2012, to May 18, 2012, in response to a petition from the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers.
