NHTSA Allows Importation of Certain 1994-1995 Land Rover Defender 90 Vehicles
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that a limited range of 1994 and 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 vehicles that were not originally manufactured to meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards can be imported into the US, provided they are substantially similar to US-certified models and can be easily modified to meet safety standards.
