BMW Granted Exemption for X3 Vehicle Line from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard
The US Department of Transportation has approved BMW of North America, LLC's petition to exempt the X3 vehicle line from the vehicle theft prevention standard, citing that the proposed antitheft device is likely to be as effective as the required parts-marking requirements.
