NHTSA Denies Firestone Steeltex Tire Recall Petition

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied a petition submitted by the Law Offices of Lisoni & Lisoni, requesting an investigation into alleged defects in Firestone Steeltex tires manufactured between 1999 and 2005 at four Firestone plants in Canada, South Carolina, Illinois, and Mexico.
