NHTSA Corrects Errors in Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has corrected errors in the reporting requirements for motor vehicle theft prevention, as part of the phase-in to amendments to the standard, following a response to petitions for reconsideration published on May 19, 2005.
