NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 2004 Jeep Liberty Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision allowing certain 2004 Jeep Liberty vehicles manufactured for the Mexican market to be imported into the US, as they are substantially similar to US-certified models and can be easily modified to meet safety standards.
