Guidelines for Impaired Driving Records Information Systems

The U.S. Department of Transportation has issued guidelines for impaired driving records information systems, outlining the types and formats of data States should collect on drivers arrested or convicted of operating vehicles under the influence. These guidelines follow the requirements set by the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) Act.
