NCUA Proposes Revision to Official Sign Indicating Insured Status

The NCUA is proposing a revision to the official sign indicating a credit union's share accounts are insured by the NCUA, which will reflect recent share insurance increases and include a statement about the backing of NCUA-insured share accounts by the full faith and credit of the US Government, in compliance with the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Act of 2005 and the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Conforming Amendments Act of 2005.
