NHTSA Denies Motor Vehicle Recall Petition for Firestone Steeltex Tires

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied two petitions submitted by the Law Offices of Lisoni & Lisoni, requesting a defect investigation into alleged defects in Firestone Steeltex tires manufactured since 1995 and installed on ambulances, citing insufficient grounds for further agency expenditure of investigative resources.
