US Insurers Must File Reports on Motor Vehicle Theft Losses
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has updated the reporting requirements for passenger motor vehicle insurers, mandating that those insurers listed in Appendices A, B, and C of 49 CFR part 544 submit reports on their motor vehicle theft loss experiences, with a deadline of October 25, 2001, for the 1998 calendar year.
