NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 1994-1998 Land Rover Discovery MPVs
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to permit the importation of 1994-1998 Land Rover Discovery multi-purpose passenger vehicles that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they are substantially similar to vehicles originally certified for importation into the US and can be modified to comply with safety regulations.
