NHTSA Proposes Amendment to Vehicle Certification Labels for Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles and Light Duty Trucks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has proposed an amendment to its vehicle certification regulations, requiring multipurpose passenger vehicles and light duty trucks weighing 6,000 pounds or less to display a certification label indicating compliance with all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety and theft prevention standards.
