New Rule on Driving Under the Influence: States Can Qualify for Incentive Funds

The U.S. government has released an interim final rule that allows states to receive grant funding if they enact a law making it a per se offense to drive with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or higher, effectively criminalizing driving under the influence.
