NHTSA Allows Importation of Nonconforming 1993 Jeep Wrangler MPVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to permit the importation of 1993 Jeep Wrangler Multi-Purpose Passenger Vehicles manufactured for foreign markets, as they are substantially similar to U.S.-certified models and can be modified to meet Federal safety standards.
