Zusammenfassung
In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Department of Homeland Security proposes to establish a new system of records titled, "Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency-- 012 Suspicious Activity Reporting System of Records." This system of records allows the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency to collect, maintain, and retrieve records on individuals who report suspicious activities, individuals reported as being involved in suspicious activities, and individuals charged with the analysis and appropriate handling of suspicious activity reports. Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency is issuing a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking elsewhere in the Federal Register to exempt this system of records from certain provisions of the Privacy Act. This newly established system will be included in the Department of Homeland Security's inventory of record systems.
