Zusammenfassung
The Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) withdraws a proposal to list the plant Puccinellia parishii (Parish's alkali grass) as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. This small annual grass occurs near desert springs, seeps, and seasonally wet areas in Apache, Coconino, and Yavapai counties, Arizona; San Bernardino County, California; San Miguel County, Colorado, and Catron, Cibola, Grant, Hidalgo, McKinley, Sandoval, and San Juan counties, New Mexico. The sites in Apache and Coconino counties, Arizona, are on the Navajo and Hopi Indian reservations. This determination is based on the recent discovery of additional populations and on new information concerning the species' habitat requirements and apparent tolerance to habitat impacts.
