This notice requests comments regarding proposed revisions to Advisory Circular (AC) 23.1309-1C, ``Equipment, Systems, and Installations in Part 23 Airplanes.'' The AC provides guidance and information for an acceptable means for showing compliance with the requirements of Sec. 23.1309(a) and (b) (Amendment 23-49) for equipment, systems, and installations in Title 14 CFR Part 23 airplanes. The AC defines the appropriate airplane systems probability levels for airplanes designed to 14 CFR Part 23 standards.
