The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is proposing to amend the regulations codifying the Commission's responsibilities under the Natural Gas Act and Executive Order 10485, as amended. The Commission proposes to update its regulations governing the filing of applications for the construction and operation of facilities to provide service or to abandon facilities or service under section 7 of the Natural Gas Act. The proposed changes are necessary to conform the Commission's regulations to the Commission's current policies.
