Zusammenfassung
The Bureau of Land Management has amended its application in part to withdraw certain lands in the San Juan Archipelago. This action will amend the legal description and acreage but will not change the effects or duration of segregation which temporarily closed the lands from surface entry and mining until June 4, 1998. The public lands have been and will remain open to mineral leasing. Upon acquisition, the non-Federal land will be opened to the mineral leasing laws.
