On January 13, 1998, the Commission released a Public Notice, (``220 MHz Public Notice''), seeking comment on the establishment of reserve prices or minimum opening bids for the 220 MHz Service auction. In addition, the Commission also sought comment on a number of procedures to be used in the 220 MHz Service auction.
