Privacy Act of 1974; Notice of Amended System of Records

Pursuant to the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. 552a, notice is given that the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board) is modifying BGFRS-1 (FRB-Recruiting and Placement Records), to account for a new electronic system that Board staff will use to identify, track, screen, and select for certain positions at the Board. In connection with the implementation, the Board is amending the system of records to update the location and manager, the categories of records, the access controls, the retention period, and the record source categories, and to identify the authority more specifically. The Board is not adding or deleting any routine uses or changing the exemptions claimed for this system of records.
