Specifically, the Houston, Texas and Lutcher, Louisiana sites are approved to gauge imported petroleum, petroleum products, organic chemicals, vegetable and animal oils, and are accredited to perform the following tests as listed under Part 151.13(a)(2): distillation characteristics, water by distillation, API gravity, viscosity, sediment by extraction and percent by weight of sulfur.
