Maxwell Museum of Anthropology Corrects Human Remains Inventory

Summary

The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology has corrected its inventory of human remains, initially published in a 2011 Notice of Inventory Completion, by adjusting the minimum number of individuals. The museum is now seeking contact from any Indian tribe culturally affiliated with the remains, with potential repatriation to the tribe if no additional claimants come forward.
