NMFS Notifies Pacific Bluefin Tuna of Overfishing Determination
Summary
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a notice to the Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) and the Western Pacific Fishery Management Council (Western Pacific Council) that Pacific bluefin tuna (Thunnus orientalis) is subject to overfishing, as determined by the Secretary of Commerce.
