Certifications Pursuant to Section 609 of Public Law 101-162

The US Department of State certified on May 2, 2013, that 13 countries have implemented shrimp fisheries programs similar to the US program, and 26 countries have no threat of incidental sea turtle capture. The certification was made under Section 609 of Public Law 101-162.
