Notice of Change in Extended Benefit Period Eligibility for Delaware and Minnesota

Summary

The U.S. Department of Labor has announced changes to the eligibility period for extended benefits (EB) under the program for Delaware and Minnesota, effective January 14, 2012. As a result of declining unemployment rates, Minnesota will exit the EB program, while Delaware will continue to offer benefits for up to 20 weeks, with a reduced maximum entitlement period of 13 weeks starting January 15, 2012.
