FMCSA Issues Regulatory Guidance on UCR Fees for Commercial Motor Vehicles

Summary

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has released guidance on the applicability of fees for the Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) Plan and Agreement, which will take effect after December 31, 2009. Until the fees are adjusted, states participating in the UCR Plan and Agreement can continue to collect fees under the current regulation.
