NMFS Issues Incidental Harassment Authorization for St. George Reef Light Station Restoration

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has granted an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to the St. George Reef Lighthouse Preservation Society (SGRLPS) to allow for the incidental harassment of four marine mammal species during the restoration and maintenance of the St. George Reef Light Station on Northwest Seal Rock in the Northeast Pacific Ocean, in compliance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) regulations.
