NMFS Issues Final Rule for Pacific Sardine Fisheries

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a final rule to set annual harvest guidelines and seasonal allocations for Pacific sardine fishing in the U.S. exclusive economic zone off the Pacific coast from January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2010, in accordance with the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan.
