The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has requested Incidental Take Regulations and a Letter of Authorization from NMFS for the Lower Columbia River Dredged Material Management Plan in Oregon and Washington, which would allow for the incidental take of small numbers of marine mammals over 5 years (2027-2032). NMFS is seeking public comments prior to making a final decision.
