Suspension of HMR Amendments for Liquefied Natural Gas Transportation by Rail

Summary

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) are suspending the authorization of liquefied natural gas (LNG) transportation in rail tank cars until either a companion rulemaking is completed or June 30, 2025.
