NCUA Seeks Comments on Proposed Regulations for Payment Stablecoin Issuers

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is seeking public comment on proposed regulations to implement portions of the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act (GENIUS Act), which requires the NCUA to license and regulate payment stablecoin issuers that are subsidiaries of federally insured credit unions.
