NMFS Reallocates Pacific Cod in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is reallocating unused Pacific cod from trawl catcher vessels to vessels greater than or equal to 60 feet in length using pot gear and to vessels less than 60 feet in length using hook-and-line or pot gear in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area to meet the 2022 total allowable catch of Pacific cod.
