Final Rule Implements Specifications for Mid-Atlantic Blueline Tilefish Fishery

Summary

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has finalized rules for the 2022 and 2023 blueline tilefish fishery, north of the North Carolina/Virginia border, and projected 2024 specifications to prevent overfishing while maximizing yield, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and the Tilefish Fishery Management Plan.
