NHTSA Updates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Child Restraint Systems

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has finalized a rule to update Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 208, 'Occupant crash protection,' to better reflect current child restraint systems (CRSs) and make it easier for manufacturers and test laboratories to obtain CRSs for testing purposes.
